Spring weddings in May always have a wonderful sense of freshness about them — longer evenings, soft sunshine, and gardens coming into full bloom. Sydney and Liam’s relaxed celebration at Leigh Park Hotel in Bradford-on-Avon captured all of that perfectly. Their day was full of genuine moments, laughter with family and friends, and a beautifully laid-back atmosphere that made it such a joy to photograph.
A Meaningful Ceremony
I joined Sydney and Liam just before their ceremony, as guests gathered with excitement and anticipation. There’s always something special about arriving at the moment the day truly begins - when everyone is ready, the atmosphere is buzzing, and all attention is on the couple about to say their vows.
Their ceremony was heartfelt and relaxed, filled with smiles and those quiet emotional moments that make weddings so meaningful. As they exchanged their vows surrounded by their closest friends and family, it was clear how loved and supported they are.
Springtime Celebrations in the Gardens
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed the beautiful May weather outside, taking in the views across the Wiltshire countryside. The gardens at Leigh Park Hotel are a lovely setting for weddings, especially in spring when everything feels fresh and vibrant.
This was the perfect time for natural group photos and relaxed candids as guests chatted, laughed, and celebrated together. The atmosphere was wonderfully easy-going, with everyone enjoying the sunshine and the chance to spend time together.

Speeches, Laughter & Cake Cutting
As everyone gathered for the wedding breakfast, the room quickly filled with warmth and laughter. One of the highlights of the afternoon was the speeches - heartfelt, funny, and full of lovely stories about Sydney and Liam.
Shortly after the speeches, Sydney and Liam cut their wedding cake, surrounded by their guests. It was a lovely moment that brought everyone together before the evening celebrations began.
An Evening of Candids & Dancing
As the evening celebrations got underway, the focus shifted to simply enjoying the moment. Rather than a traditional first dance, the dance floor naturally filled with guests ready to celebrate.
This part of the evening was all about candid moments. Friends catching up, laughter between family members, and plenty of dancing. It was the perfect relaxed ending to a beautiful day, and I stayed to capture those natural moments as the celebrations continued.
A Joyful Spring Wedding
Sydney and Liam’s May wedding at Leigh Park Hotel was a perfect example of how wonderful a relaxed wedding can be — full of genuine moments, laughter, and time spent with the people who matter most.
It was such a pleasure to capture their celebration in beautiful Bradford-on-Avon and document all those natural moments that tell the real story of the day.
If you’re planning your wedding at Leigh Park Hotel or anywhere in Wiltshire, Somerset, or the surrounding countryside, I’d love to hear all about your plans.
